C2 Fall 2020Leader's notes Editor’s Letter – Fall 2020 by Stacie Neall September 22, 2020 written by Stacie Neall “What lies behind us and what lies ahead of us are tiny matters to what lies within us.” Ralph Waldo Emerson Welcome to the Fall issue of Connect Converge Perspective is a funny thing these days. In the long run, no matter how much life has changed, I hope we all have the opportunity to learn something new, brush up on a skill set and throw in a few random acts of kindness. I love the quote by Emerson because it says that difficult times are small compared to the determination within us. The coronavirus may have sent us home, canceled our 2020 plans, and physically kept us apart, but what it has not been able to do is to keep us from reinventing how we do what we do best. Here at Connect Worldwide, we have experienced growth in membership, we have had the pleasure to engage with new customers and partners, and of course, I love that content is coming in hot! And Slack and Zoom have been our friends. Make sure to read our feature, “Five steps to transform to on-premises cloud services.” Erik Vogel, Global Vice President, Customer Experience, HPE GreenLake, speaks to us from the fastest place on earth, the Bonneville Salt Flats. HPE GreenLake is a true consumption-based game-changer helping customers set speed records to innovation. As always, Connect appreciates your continued engagement. It is an excellent time to share your insights, success stories, and how-to content with your HPE User Community.
