Welcome to the Winter issue of Connect Converge

It’s been over a century since Juliette Gordon Low founded the Girl Scouts of the USA in her hometown of Savannah. With a strong vision of empowerment for girls, she was resourceful in a magnitude of ways. She never stopped short, and even met with President Taft in her recruitment efforts. The longevity of the Girl Scout narrative is fascinating to follow. Fast forward to today, and it does not seem coincidental that the current CEO, Sylvia Acevedo, has stayed the course of the original vision. Courage, confidence, and character are as prevalent today as they were then. In our feature, “How Cookies and Rockets Changed My Life – Girl Scouts and STEM,” Sylvia Acevedo’s story is riveting and is nothing short of an educational game-changer for girls today and tomorrow.

Also, in this issue, don’t miss Calvin Zito’s Around the Storage Block. It is chalked full (no pun intended) of storage happenings for 2019. It was a big year of announcements.

But before we busy ourselves with ringing in 2020, Connect wishes to thank you for sharing your technical expertise and your time with your HPE user community.
